Sound familiar?
No lecture. Just the evenings most of us know too well.
That quiet mental load sits there all day: what to cook, who eats what, what’s left in the fridge. Workday done, brain offline. You don’t need another task. You need a short list.
One fridge, different appetites. You still have to eat something too. Ideas that can stretch a bit, without turning dinner into a project.
Not because you can’t cook. Because deciding again is exhausting. A gentle nudge is often enough.

FAQ
No. The curated catalog and matching are free. Pro is optional: AI customised meal ideas from your fridge, photo detect, and more meals in Pro. Monthly and yearly both include a 7-day trial when subscriptions go live.
Of course you can. WhatToCook’s main edge is memory and speed: set preferences and staples once, and they’re used every time. After that, the flow usually takes 1–2 minutes. In a chat you rewrite everything from scratch each time, which takes much longer. Try both and keep what fits you better.
When you’re on Pro, your ingredients and preferences are sent to the AI provider (Google Gemini) to generate meal ideas. Those are suggestions. Always check allergens and cook safely. The free catalog is reviewed by humans.
The app currently supports English and Ukrainian. More languages will be added soon.
Meals that include allergens you set in preferences are filtered out of suggestions. Still, we recommend checking ingredients yourself every time, especially with AI ideas. Nutrition numbers are estimates.
In your Apple or Google subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel billing on its own.
